Fishermen Observations

PIFG is again hosting the fishers’ observations for the Pacific Islands Region. Hawaii meeting on 1/27, American Samoa 1/28, and Marianas 1/29. Don’t miss out on these great events to learn from others, share your observations from 2025, and be a part of the fishermen process of observing on-the-water science. Working with NOAA, the Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council, and Pacific Islands Fisheries Group, the goal of these events is to ensure fishers observations are recorded in the record to ensure science acknowledges what fishers experience.
