March 2026

Jordan Alejandro III’s 30” Omilu

Aloha Taggers,

Happy March, with the weather events in February, fishing was relatively slow. We had 10 Fish tagged this month Some quality fish submitted from Big Island including multiple large Omilus, Uluas, and a 45” Kaku from Alika Bento & Chris Lewis.

We’re hoping weather improves but the fishing still seems great.

Check out the photos and recognition this month.

NEW*** “Da List” Section has been updated and shows live tracking of your catch, and most recent submission. Check it out at: https://www.fishtoday.org/scoreboard

February Catches

Alika Bento’s 45” Kaku. Alika is the creator of Omilu House Lures (OHL). From Chris: This is Chris Lewis, my friend Alika Bento caught this big Kaku using his own lure called Omilu House Lures. He's the owner and maker of these lures. I used my tag to tag his fish. Credit is all his, he ran out of tags I believe. Mahalo's Chris!!

Jordan Alejandro with a nice 20” Omilu from Big Island.

Thad Nakajima continuing to put some great Oio’s on the board! An 18” Oio caught between storms.
