Community Consultation Updates

7 May 2025: Pacific Islands Fisheries Group Staff members Clay Tam, Director of Research, and Alex Min, Project Coordinator provided updates to the Western Pacific Regional Fishery Council Plan Team on 7 May 2025 on the IRA Community Consultation initiative as well as the 2024 Fishers Observation Reports. The Plan Team consists of NOAA scientists, State of Hawaii Department of Aquatic Resources Staff, American Samoa Department of Natural Resources Staff, as well as Guam and Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands Department Staff. The Plan Team develops the ANNUAL STOCK ASSESSMENT AND FISHERY EVALUATION REPORT for each territory/state.
