Pacific Islands Fisheries Group Returns from work in American Samoa

The Pacific Islands Fisheries Group recently returned from a week of working with the American Samoa fishers across Tutuila and Manu’a Islands. The work included community outreach meetings and follow ups on the on-going climate and fishing community resilience work, updates on regional fisheries management, and support to the community through a bottomfish knowledge and data exchange workshop as part of the Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council’s initiative.
